Focus Groups
At the iMERA meeting in Ljubljana in 2005 it was
decided to support the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) by
the development of "road maps" for the relevant research topics. This
work was given to the EUROMET TCs and the roadmaps should be available
by the end of March 2006. It was recognized by the meetings
participants that some important research areas are at present not
covered by corresponding TCs. As consequence within INTMET three focus
groups were established for the following fields in metrology:
Metrology for New Materials
Chair: Graham Sims, NPL
Metrology for Life Science
Chair: Hans Koch, PTB
Software and Mathematical Tools for Metrology
Chairs: Markus Bär/Dieter Richter, PTB
