Brake trains

Sometimes, in specific conditions, especially in mountainous areas, use unusual methods of checking the brakes, determined by the characteristics of-way: for example, where once the station begins a steep long slope, which is to slow down the train or after the station begins the ascent, which goes after a site in protracted descent, etc. In these cases, a check of the brakes at the station or even in traction mode. For such conditions the locomotive must be equipped with a special circuit indicator gap brake line sensor number 418, which allows braking without the automatic shut-off traction mode.

When testing the brakes must be borne in mind that any excessive reduction in the rate of its subsequent recruitment in traction mode causes additional consumption of electricity or diesel fuel.
