CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA)
The MRA of the Comité International des
Poids et Mesures (CIPM):
- Establishes the degree equivalence of national
measurement standards
- Provides for mutual recognition of calibration and
measurement certificates issued by NMIs
- Provides governments and other parties with a
secure technical foundation for wider agreements.
